ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

ABOUT US

The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department was started from the beginning of College itself in the year 2012 with an intake of 60. The B-Tech degree course in ECE follows the Scheme and Syllabus of Kerala Technical University(KTU) to which the College is affiliated. This Course is of 8 Semesters and covers a period of 4 years as per AICTE norms.

The Department is consists of   highly qualified, efficient and committed faculty members. They participate in conferences and various faculty development programs to keep in pace with latest development in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The faculty members of the department utilize blended teaching learning aids to enhance the standard of teaching and learning. Our aim is on putting the theoretical knowledge into practical use to mould students into highly efficient engineers. The department constantly strives to improve the knowledge, skills and attitude of the students by conducting many value added programs like conferences, workshops, technical quizzes, project exhibitions, design contests, paper presentations and personality development courses.

For effective students’ guidance and counseling, an advisory system includes a Faculty Advisor for each class. The Faculty Advisor is in charge of a class with a caring eye on a group of students and provides accurate and consistent information to students. They handle the problem related to attendance, discipline and personal problem of students. Electronics and Communication Engineering Department has well equipped laboratories to provide the students with the sufficient practical knowledge, besides encouraging them  to try out their innovative research and development idea and a library with an extensive collection of books .Parent Teachers Association (PTA)meetings are held to enable smooth working of college and to assess students’ academic performance. Department provides collaborative environment open to the exchange of ideas, where research, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship can flourish, and ensure students achieve their full potential.
