The R&D centre is being set up in the institute with area of expertise as detailed below

1. Bio signal in Electronics and communication engineering
2. Traffic safety in civil engineering.
3. —-In Chemical engineering.
4. Production Engineering in mechanical engineering.

Currently M-Tech students are doing research in the guidance of Dr.Shaniba and Prof B. Sivakumar.
